STORY: In one set of images, increased shelling in Bakhmut fields can be seen.

The images were taken six months apart. The first shows an image of nearly untouched fields taken on August 1, 2022.

The second image was taken on January 7, 2023 and shows the same fields now covered in craters.

Russia has made Bakhmut the main target of a winter push involving hundreds of thousands of reservists and mercenaries.
