Impersonation Scam

An impersonator called me and provided a new number, 89328143, asking me to save it. Strangely, they could identify my real name, even though my WhatsApp profile did not include my Chinese name. The following morning, the impersonator attempted to call again, but I didn't answer, feeling too tired. Instead, they sent me a voice message on WhatsApp, asking me to call back when I had time. Similarly, my girlfriend experienced a similar situation with the same number. The impersonator posed as a friend but was more elaborate. They asked her for her bank account number, claiming that their bank was temporarily down. They requested her to transfer $4200 to a friend's account, promising to transfer the same amount back to her once their "bank" was operational again.
