SINGAPORE — Students in primary, secondary and junior colleges may be paying higher canteen food prices, after the Ministry of Education (MOE) recently revised the school canteen pricing guidelines.
TODAY understands that the last time the guidelines were revised was in 2018, and that the increase allowed under the new guidelines will be less than S$1 across the primary, secondary schools and junior colleges.

So obvious that even schools are not spared. Tot MOE would at least take care of the children but guess MOE knows it can indirectly suck $$ from the parents. What a governance strategy to make the People pay and pay. those elderly who is aware of their children, or their children's children supporting their households. how tough it had become for them. Vote wisely!

To my understanding other well develop country Pri and Sec school canteen food are pay by government (central kitchen only hala and non hala food)like in the army camp. Well done PAP so rich (Got Five unless Mayer) yet cannot pay for food in Pri and Sec school canteen.
