Scoot flight to Bali returns to Changi after smoke detected in cabin

SINGAPORE - A Scoot flight bound for Bali from Singapore turned back to Changi Airport minutes into its ascent after smoke was detected in the cabin on April 30.

Flight TR280 left for Bali at 7.33am and landed back in Singapore at about 8.27am “as a precaution”, Scoot said in response to queries from The Straits Times.
