Security guard’s death at KL condo reclassified as murder

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 3 — Police have reclassified the death of security guard R. Chandran, who died after he was assaulted outside a Jalan Ipoh condominium last month, as murder.
The 54-year-old victim was allegedly attacked by a 32-year-old resident with a pistol-shaped lighter at the Menara Megah condominium after refusing a request to accompany the man to his unit.

It is certainly heartbreaking to have a 54-year-old security guard life be brutally cut short in this horrific manner Hopefully further investigation into the matter will afford the deceased families some closure for the unspeakable horrific tragedy.
