See a doctor if you are unwell, urge experts as community cases go up

If you have a cough, sore throat or runny nose, you should not think it is just the common flu.
It could mean you have Covid-19, medical experts said yesterday.
And now is not the time to avoid seeing a doctor and getting a medical certificate (MC) if you are unwell, added infectious disease specialist Leong Hoe Nam.

We don’t have local cases in the past months that’s why they didn’t expect it

Consult the doctor if you are not feeling well. Don't take the risk. You will form a big cluster if you have Covid-19 virus. 大家不要冒险,有病就看医生

Surprising that people infected with Covid did not go seek medical treatment. These people then go on to infect others. No good, we are all at risk here. Looks like the only option is to go for vaccination.

Working despite feeling unwell has been the culture in Singapore for decades. Unless there is legislation to jail bosses for penalising employees who seek medical treatment when unwell, nothing will change.
