IPOH: A senior police officer was charged in a Magistrate's Court in the Malaysian state of Perak on Monday (Dec 18) with the murder of a secondary school boy last Friday.

Local media reported that the victim had died in a suspected hit-and-run accident after his motorcycle was hit by a car driven by a man working at the Kedah police headquarters.
