Sentosa Cable Car Offers $4 Rides and Creative Workshops for Families
Families looking for a mix of scenic views and cultural immersion can now enjoy an unforgettable day out with the Singapore Cable Car–Sentosa Line. In celebration of its 10th anniversary, the Sentosa Line cable car cabins have been beautifully transformed with vibrant Peranakan-inspired interiors. These designs take cues from the colourful shophouses along Koon Seng Road, featuring soft pastel tones and intricate motifs that offer more than just a ride—they offer a journey through heritage.
As part of this special celebration, Singapore residents are entitled to an exclusive 1-for-1 promotion on Sentosa Line rides. From now until 31 August 2025, locals can enjoy a round trip for two at just $4 or choose unlimited rides for two in a single day at only $14. The experience includes sweeping views over Sentosa’s beaches, green spaces, and iconic attractions, making it perfect for a family adventure.
The experience doesn’t stop at the ride. Visitors can head over to Siloso Point Station, where a curated series of hands-on cultural workshops will be hosted by Mount Faber Leisure Group. Held on the last weekend of every month, these sessions invite guests to slow down and get creative. Each workshop is led by a local artist or craftsman, offering the chance to try unique traditional crafts like embroidery, clay kueh sculpting, Peranakan beading, and rubber stamp carving.
Opening the series is Thread Lightly by Yenidraws—a local self-taught illustrator and mompreneur—with sessions scheduled for 29 June, 26 and 27 July 2025. Guests aged six and above (accompanied by an adult) will get to embroider a Singapore Cable Car tea towel designed by Yeni herself. Two 90-minute sessions are available daily at 11am and 3pm, with all materials provided.
Workshop bundles can be purchased online via Mount Faber Leisure Group’s official store. A locals-only bundle, which includes one workshop session and a round-trip cable car ride, is priced at $45, while a discounted local resident option is available at $38.
More workshops will be unveiled in the coming months, so keep an eye on Mount Faber Leisure Group’s website for updates.
