Sex And The City star Kristin Davis has appeared to confirm that Willie Garson will be returning to play Stanford Blatch in the HBO Max reboot And Just Like That.

It was announced that the beloved sitcom ismaking a dramatic comeback, with Davis, Sarah Jessica Parker and Cynthia Nixon reprising their roles of Charlotte York, Carrie Bradshaw and Miranda Hobbs.

Although Kim Cattrall won’t be revisiting her iconic character Samantha Jones, the lovable Stanford will be back on screen – no doubt being another shoulder for BFF Carrie to cry on.

Garson shared the news of Sex And The City’s return on his Instagram page with co-star Davis responding: ‘Of course Stanford will be back !!❤️❤️❤️’

Naturally, fans were delighted by the revelation, and flooded the comments section.

‘Best news today!!!!!’ one enthused, while another posted: ‘Stanny!!!! Yessss!!!! Cant wait to see you all again! ❤️’

And Just Like That will comprise of 10 episodes and will follow Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte as they navigate friendship in their 50s – it’s not yet been revealed how the show will deal with Samantha’s absence.
