Singapore Cable Car celebrates 10th year anniversary with Peranakan-themed cable car cabins, limited-time S$2 ride offers and craft workshops
This June holiday, the sky’s the limit with the Singapore Cable Car!
With the iconic cable car cabins reaching the sky-high milestone of 10 years, tradition is taken to new heights by wrapping the Singapore Cable Car in vibrant Peranakan-inspired designs, among other celebratory activations.

You can take a joyride dressed in kebayas (created by four local designers) and batik shirts available to be rented from the Sentosa Shop in these cable car cabins, which feature familiar and intricate motifs reminiscent of the Koon Seng Road shophouses.

Eight unique kebayas will also be on display at the Sensoryscape Cable Car Station as well.
Your trip with the Singapore Cable Car will not be in vain.
Along your cable car ride, stop by the various stations to visit a few themed displays.
Starting your journey at the Sensoryscape Station, you can check out the 7.2 metre tall Peranakan House at the Lookout Loop.

It’s a sight to behold both in the daytime and at night, but I recommend staying when it’s dark out to watch the Peranakan House transform into a mesmerising projection-mapped canvas.
At the Imbiah Lookout Station, admire the Kamcheng Peranakan porcelain replicas, inspired by the Intan Collectionon display.
Finally, reach the Siloso Point Station for some photos with the colourful larger-than-life Tiffin Carriers, also inspired by the Intan Collection.
And as part of the celebrations, the Sentosa Line is packed with promotions for you to grab. Local residents can enjoy special 1-for-1 Sentosa Line promotions from now till 31 August 2025.

This includes a Sentosa Line round trip for two at only S$4, and a 1-day unlimited rides for two at just S$14.
Do note that the 1-for-1 Sentosa Line promotions are only available for tickets purchased at the Sentosa Line — Sensoryscape Station Ticketing Counter and Guest Service Centre at Sensoryscape.
Lift your spirits at the series of hands-on, Peranakan-inspired workshops at the Siloso Point Station on the last weekend of each month.
During the workshops, you’ll be led by a local artist or maker where you can try making traditional crafts, including embroidery, mini clay kueh sculpting, rubber stamp carving, and Peranakan beading.

To rope you into the workshop series, illustrator Yenidraws will be hosting the first workshop entitled Thread Lightly.
Happening on 29 June 2025, 26 July 2025, and 27 July 2025, you’ll learn to embroider your own Singapore Cable Car tea towel designed by Yenidraws herself.

Workshop bundles will be available via Mount Faber Leisure Group’s online store. The only bundle currently available includes participation in the Thread Lightly workshop and a round-trip on the Sentosa Line (S$45 for non-locals, S$38 for local residents).
Unfortunately, Sentosa Line is keeping us in suspense about the details for the other workshops. However, you can check out Mount Faber Leisure Group’s website for updates on upcoming workshops. Ready to ride high with Singapore Cable Cars on their 10th anniversary?
