Law and Home Affairs Minister K. Shanmugam defended Singapore’s controversial mandatory death penalty for drug-related offenses during a heated BBC interview that aired yesterday.

if there is no death penalty there will be a lot of crimes that causes deaths

Isnt it the same thinking as gun laws. if there are less gun crimes then obviously there will be less death penalty and its the same as drugs too.
