Singapore scientists discover role of NLRP1 protein in detecting common cold virus

Scientists in Singapore have made a discovery that may eventually lead to less severe cold symptoms. They have found that a particular protein in the body gets triggered by the cold virus, resulting in inflamed lungs and other symptoms.
