If you’ve been anywhere near Johor Bahru or Kuala Lumpur in the last quarter of 2024, you’ve probably heard the buzz about KKV. And if you haven’t, where have you been?

With its massive success in Malaysia, it was only a matter of time before KKV made its way across the border. And guess what? It’s finally happening! 

Singapore is finally getting our very own KKV at Tiong Bahru Plaza this May 2025.

For the uninitiated, KKV is China’s biggest lifestyle retail chain, and it’s pretty much a treasure trove of everything you never knew you needed.

Clothes? Check. Home decor? Check. Snacks? Lots of snacks. It’s like a mix of Miniso, The Green Party, and Turtle but with a Gen Z twist. 

Just imagine aesthetic store displays, trendy photo opportunities, and their signature bright yellow storefront that’s basically impossible to miss.

I’ve seen photos of KKV’s food section, and let me tell you, I was not prepared for the sheer volume of snacks.

Now, let’s talk about what I’m most excited about: the instant noodles collection (admin may or may not have an addiction). 

It’s a whole selection of instant noodles from around the world. It’s a foodie’s paradise. Fingers crossed that the prices stay as wallet-friendly as they are back in China!

But wait, there’s more. 

Expect everything from beauty products and personal care to home decor and lifestyle goods. Need a cute plushie? Done. Aesthetic tableware? Absolutely. Eye-catching paintings? Say no more.

Maybe it’s time for a little home refresh now that Lunar New Year is over.

And of course, no KKV store is complete without a photo-worthy spot. Any guesses on what Singapore’s version will be?

KKV Singapore will officially open at Tiong Bahru Plaza in May 2025.
