The tahfiz school founder was charged with unnatural sex against a male student.

Firdaous Abdul Rashif was previously charged with five counts of committing sexual assault and unnatural sex on three of his students.

PETALING JAYA: A Singaporean who founded a tahfiz school in Melaka has been slapped with three additional charges of sexual assault.

Firdaous Abdul Rashif, 40, was charged in the Ayer Keroh sessions court with three counts of sexual assault against a male student between 2018 and 2019.

Firdaous, a father of six, pleaded not guilty before judge Darmafikri Abu Adam after the charges were read out by an interpreter, according to Harian Metro.

For the first and second counts, Firdaous is accused of unnatural sex against the student, then aged 15, between 11pm and midnight on July 13, 2018, and between 2am to 6am on July 28 the same year.

The offence is alleged to have taken place at a condominium at Klebang 8.

For the third charge, he is accused of committing the same offence against the same victim at a house in the vicinity of Madrasah Al-Islah, Tanjung Minyak around 9am on Jan 18, 2019.
