Singaporean swimmer Quah Ting Wen fails in appeal for Paris Olympics

SINGAPORE – Quah Ting Wen will not compete in the Paris Olympics as part of the women’s 4x100m medley relay team, after appeals to Singapore Aquatics (SAQ) and World Aquatics were rejected by both organisations on July 8.
SAQ confirmed that the 31-year-old will be replaced by Gan Ching Hwee, 20, and will miss out on her fourth Games.
