Singaporeans going to Batam, Bali, Jakarta and Surabaya required to use new on-arrival app
The Straits Times - Singapore·2025-09-02 18:02
SINGAPORE - From Sept 1 , travellers arriving at three Indonesian airports, including Bali and Jakarta, and the port of Batam must use a new mobile phone app to complete the arrival declaration.
Indonesia’s directorate-general of immigration, in a statement on Aug 31 , said the requirement applies to all travellers - both foreigners and citizens.
Called the All Indonesia app, it was introduced to simplify the arrival declaration process for international passengers, while providing an easier, faster and safer travel experience, the statement said.
The new app is available in Indonesian, English, as well as Mandarin. Travellers can complete the form three days before their arrival, and for free.
The app integrates the immigration, customs, health and quarantine arrival card into a single digital system.
In the past, travellers had to fill in the Satu Sehat Health Pass and the Electronic Customs Declaration.
For now, travellers arriving at the Soekarno-Hatta airport in Jakarta, Juanda airport in Surabaya, I Gusti Ngurah Rai airport in Bali, and the international port in Batam – a stone’s throw from Singapore – will need to use the app.
Its use will be expanded to all airports and airlines, and international ports and borders in time, the statement said.
The passenger declaration form can be accessed at
or through the All Indonesia app, which is available on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
Singaporeans visiting Indonesia for up to 30 days do not require a visa.
