Sinkhole forms on Tanjong Katong Road near One Amber condo; public advised to avoid the area
SINGAPORE - The public should avoid the stretch of Tanjong Katong Road near the One Amber condominium, after a sinkhole formed there on July 26.
Member of Parliament Goh Pei Ming said in a Facebook post the same evening that he and his team were alerted to a sinkhole at the location.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force said it had responded to an incident in the area, and one person has been taken to Raffles Hospital.
A video circulating on social media shows a large hole on one side of the road. A car appears to have fallen in, and is seen floating in the water below.
A construction site is also seen nearby.

SBS Transit, in a post on X, said that bus service 48 will skip the bus stop along Tanjong Katong Road South “due to an obstacle on the road”.

The workers only save the woman but never save the car that is more expensive . They should save the car together with the woman . This made them real hero . Sadly the car did not make it .
