3 Jul - Despite always being compared to one another and was thought to have familial relationship, Siti Khadijah recently stated that she and Siti Hariesa are not related in any shape or form.

"We are not best friends. We are just acquaintances. We are also not siblings. I have an older sister. So let me stressed that Siti Hariesa and I are not related. Please stop making such speculations," she said in a recent TikTok livestream with fans.

The actress said that the misunderstanding has been going on for a long time that she was even affected by the previous controversy surrounding Siti Hariesa's scandalous performance with Zul Ariffin in a TV drama a few years back.

"It really stunned me. She was the one who acted with Zul Ariffin, why am I being bashed [by netizens]? It's quite funny as well. She was the one in the drama, but I was being scolded by netizens instead," she said.

At the same time, Siti Khadijah stressed that she is neither jealous of nor annoyed by Siti Hariesa, just that she isn't fond of being misunderstood by netizens.

"My face is not this ["one size fits all"] or so ordinary that it can be compared with everybody. Please differentiate us," she added.
