I’m a resident writer on the BuzzFeed Shopping team covering a variety of topics in a fun and mindful way, including travel, home, beauty, gift guides, and anything that’ll add just a bit of whimsy into people’s lives.

1. A bottle of Lumify Eye Drops that'll help brighten your eyes in *one minute* and helps reduce redness so well, it's left reviewers feeling shocked, amazed, and downright flabbergasted. Just because we were up all night scrolling doesn't mean we want to hear the "you look so tired!!" comments (jeez...).

www.amazon.com

Learn more about different kinds of eye drops and what they can do at Cleveland Clinic. Note that eye drops can potentially mask symptoms of eye conditions, so you should talk to your eye doctor about what's right for you. And according to Mayo Clinic, you should avoid redness-reducing drops if you're looking for dry eye relief.

Check out a TikTok of the eye drops in action.

Promising review: "I have a big spot of blood vessels in the inner corner of my left eye. I use the expensive lubricant eye drops for moisture — I've used Visine, Clear Eyes, you name it. No eye drop has made my eyes look this great. Only Lumify! I was soo happy when I looked in the mirror and saw some beauty in my eyes instead of darkness and redness." —Angela Leonard

Get it from Amazon for$11.93.

2. Bioclean Hard Water Stain Remover if there was once a time, perhaps long, long ago, when the view out of your shower wasn't blocked by a cloudy film. With just a bit of scrubbing, this'll get rid of soap scum, rust, and calcium buildup — no streaks left behind. You can try it out on the shower head, nozzle, and glass doors, and they'll clean up so easily you won't even mind tackling those annoying toilet and sink stains, too!

www.amazon.com

Promising review: "We have been living in an RV resort, and the water is EXTREMELY hard! Even with a giant water softener attached, the hard water makes everything white and splotchy. I tried this product because I saw it on BuzzFeed. I should’ve taken before/after pictures, but I was too skeptical — this is a miracle product!!! Amazing results with little scrubbing. I just used a non-scratch sponge and holy cow!!! Our shower doors look like new, and this removed a water stain we’ve had for three years in no time! I ordered more instantly and am literally using it everywhere! Thank you for making the best cleaning product ever!" —Heidi

Get it from Amazon for $15.77+ (available in three sizes).

3. Some reusable Nippies nipple covers because what's even better than a comfy bra? Not having to wear one at all! These beauties come in various shades and look pretty much seamless underneath shirts, and folks are reporting no lifting + no obvious mounds! They hold up to sweat, and there's even a version with a pull-tab for some ~lift~, sooo you're basically set with not having to buy a strapless bra just to wear tube tops.

www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com

Promising review: "LOVE these covers. They are 100% effective, so much so that I wear them every day. I always wear a bra while out of the house, and these are perfect and so comfortable. I don't even know I have them on. They come in a cute little box that you can store in your lingerie drawer. I've bought several pairs and will continue to replace them periodically. Since I'm not using them as pasties to wear in place of a bra, they last me a lot longer. I also wash them in lukewarm water with a very mild soap and let them air dry. One pair lasts me 6 months this way. It is well worth the price of $25 to know I never have to worry about my nipples showing. I wish I had had these all my life. They are very well made and worth every penny." —Shelley Morrison

BuzzFeed editor Natalie Brown swears by these pasties! Check out her Nippies review to learn more.

Get them from Amazon for $28.49+ (available in three sizes, five shades, and a lifting style).

4. Sol De Janeiro Bum Bum Cream, a modern-day invention that performs like it was created by an ancient alchemist — how else can it be *so* helpful for hydrating and smoothing skin? While this beauty icon is really just a mix of ingredients like cupuaca butter, coconut oil, and caffeine, reviewers are seriously blown away by the way it leaves their skin feeling firmer and more hydrated. And the luxe caramel-y, pistachio-y scent lasts a good while, so don't be surprised when people start asking what you're wearing. 👀

www.amazon.com

Caffeine has a number of skincare benefits, including brightening and temporarily reducing the appearance of stretch marks and cellulite, if that's something you're looking to do! You can read more about the skincare benefits of caffeine at the Cleveland Clinic.

Promising review: "I am 60 and I could not get rid of the cellulite on my legs. I started using this product six weeks ago and can noticeably see a difference. I apply morning and evening, before bed for optimal results. It goes on smooth and has a creamy, nonsticky feel. The smell is dreamy, and even my husband has commented on the improvement. Make sure you apply in a circular motion for optimal coverage, absorption and circulation." —Amazon Customer

Get it from Amazon for $24+ (available in five sizes and a refill tub).

5. The Bug Bite Thing, aka a suctioning tool to save you from the pesky bloodsuckers that insist on giving you an itch filled life. The little gizmo works by pulling out the saliva from your mosquito bites (or wasp stings!), which is full of the venom that causes the itching and irritation. It works like a syringe (but no needle, BTW) — after a few seconds of holding the suction, you'll be good to go. It's a great tool to have in your bug-fighting arsenal, and also kid-friendly!

www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com

The Bug Bite Thing works best on fresh bites, and includes two sizes of suction. For older bites, it also includes a scraper to take off the top of the bug bite for better results. Also, to avoid any red markings left behind by the tool, it is best to only hold the suction for about 10–20 seconds.

Promising review: "This is one of the best things I’ve ever purchased! About two hours before it was delivered, I noticed a big, itchy, red bump on my leg. Perfect timing! 😆 I used it for the first time just a few moments ago on said bug bite, and I’m happy to report the redness, the bump, and the urge to scratch are all GONE! My flabbers are ghasted and I’ll be ordering a few more to keep in the car, my purse, the medicine cabinet, etc. 🦟" —David & Heather

Get it from Amazon for $9.99 (available in five colors).

6. A tiny toenail brace designed to help lessen the curve of ingrown nails growing all wonky. Just adhere the tiny strip to the top of your trouble toenail, and it'll do all the work of straightening it out for you! Lots of reviewers saw a change and felt less pain within a few days, and I can almost *feel* that relief scrolling through their images. 😮‍💨

www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com

This comes with a kit containing 10 toenail braces and tools for application. Each brace lasts 3–6 weeks.

Promising review: "I used to be in sports all through middle and high school, and it really messed up my left foot overall, especially my big toe. I was always embarrassed by my big toe during the summer that I’d put a bandage over it to make it seem like it was injured. Finding someone to fix your toe is expensive, and I don’t have that kind of money at the moment. Started doing research on ways to do so, and this one was the best way. It does take some practice, but once attached, it should not move. Your toes will hurt for a day. Like a dense pain. Not sharp. I saw a difference in about two weeks. I’m a month in on the most severe toe, and no more ingrown toenail!" —Sandra L.

Get it from Amazon for $44.99.

7. Game board storage casesif you understand that game nights are the peak hangout activity (and take it very seriously, thank you very much), but your growing collection is starting to take over every shelf in your home. This'll keep all the pieces organized and separated without the bulkiness of boxes, and it's also great if you have lots of craft supplies or puzzles!

www.amazon.com

Promising review: "We loved these containers and have now bought 20 to hold our entire game closet! We have been able to fit several games in some. Easy to store and easy for my kids to find and then put away when finished. Good quality, haven't had any problems with durability yet, and we play a LOT of games." —bradfieldfamily

Get a pack of 10 from Amazon for $54.99 (also available in a pack of four and eight).

8. A set of *compression* packing cubesfor anyone committed to packing two weeks' worth of clothes in a carry-on. These'll keep you organized *and* have some double-zipper action to squeeze all the extra air out, leaving you with super dense, super compact cubes. Now you can easily pack double the amount of underwear you could ever need for your trip... ya know, just in case.

www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com

I bought the set of sixfor eight weeks in Europe with one suitcase, and they were perfect for keeping me organized during the packing process and making sure I had plenty of space for my other essentials (and I am someone who packs for every possible scenario)! My advice: lay your clothes as flat as possible, not folded or rolled. This way, they stack more evenly and when you compress, have less of a lump in the center, which lets them fit together more seamlessly! The four larger cubes held all my clothes, while the smaller one fit toiletries and the shoe bag, all three pairs I took. And, when I was fully unpacked, the larger cubes doubled as a laundry bag! I've kept using them on all my trips, even just for organizing, and have had zero issues with durability.

Promising review: "At first I was skeptical, but needed an option for packing for my two-week trip in a carry-on. I originally planned to use the largest bag for just my bottoms but as I was packing them (all items were rolled), I noticed I could fit more.. and moved on to all my dresses… then on to my bigger shirts… then ALL my shirts! Leading me to fit three pants, three skirts, two shorts, 10+ tops in just one bag! Zipping the extra compression was hard, but by going inch by inch, we made it!! Grante,d this is all light summer/ linen clothing, but I am still very impressed!!" —Amazon Customer

Get a set of four from Amazon for $16.97+ (also available in sets of six or eight, a solid or partial mesh design, and various colors).

9. A neck and shoulder relaxer if hunching over your desk for eight hours a day in a position that could only be described as "🦐" is starting to take its toll. This ergonomic foam gives your neck the space to stretch out, which can help relax your spine and provide maaajor tension relief. Reviewers swear by it for helping reduce shoulder pain, stiff neck, or even just being the perfect 10-minute break during a study sesh.

www.amazon.com, Amazon

If you have any neck or back issues, talk to your doctor before use and read more about cervical traction at Cleveland Clinic.

For this, instead of like a regular pillow, you're supposed to lie on it in 10-minute intervals; the seller suggests working your way up to it by starting yourself off at five minutes at a time, with a one- to three-day adjustment period before regular use.

Promising review: "This neck relaxer is so easy to use! It took a few times to get used to, but it is not uncomfortable and is very much helpful with my chronic neck pain and shoulder tension. I felt pain relief after the first use! I have even been able to cut back on my chiropractor appointments because of this product. So thankful for this amazing find, as I am only 41 and have been struggling with neck pain for several years now." —Mary Beth

Get it from Amazon for $16.99 (available in five colors).

10. A bleach-free Wet & Forget shower cleaner reviewers call a lifesaver for removing mucky buildup in their tub, but it is also a hands, back, and knees saver because it does it without any scrubbing! It's super easy to incorporate into your weekend cleaning sesh — just spray it on, leave it for 8-12 hours, then rinse! If you leave it overnight, you'll basically be cleaning while you sleep, which is a next-level life hack.

www.amazon.com

This is great for a bit of low-effort weekly maintenance, but if your shower is in need of a ~deep clean~, you can use this a few times in a row to get it all washed up before starting that once-a-week schedule.

Promising review: "I kept seeing this on lists on BuzzFeed, so I finally caved and bought it. I mean, for $20, if it worked, great; if not, it wasn't a massive loss. But dude let me tell you! This stuff makes cleaning my shower SO RIDICULOUSLY EASY!! I will NEVER go back to getting on my knees and scrubbing the floor of my bathtub ever again!! ...I just spray my whole shower (including floor) down with this stuff, let it set anywhere from one hour to overnight (depending on how long it's been since I cleaned my shower), and then rinse it off. It is seriously that easy. I will stay stocked up on this product for as long as they make and sell it! The ONLY downside I've found is that it can make the shower floor a little slippery after use, but that's easily fixed if you just rub it down with a washcloth real quick. Absolutely worth the money!" —Jatia

Get it from Amazon for $19.99+ (available in two scents, two sizes, and as a two-pack).

11. A set of jean button pins — when you haven't gotten the chance to alter your pants, you can attach these to your waistband to act as your "new" button. Promising review: "In just a little over a month, my feet have had SUCH a transformation that I haven’t seen in over 10 years 😭 I’m only 30, but I’ve had problems with my feet since I was a teen. I’ve always been so insecure about them for obvious reasons. My feet literally shredded sheets! I’ve tried so many products, I’ve lost count! None of them did anything. Wasted time, money, and hope! But this product—it’s given me my feet back!! 😭 I don’t have to wear socks EVERYWHERE anymore! I will never buy another product!! My favorite part is that I don’t have to put nasty creams on my hands to rub into my feet anymore." —Amber Reynolds

We love an overachiever that helps us see the light at the end of the cleaning tunnel.

www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com

Here's what BuzzFeeder Maitland Quitmeyer has to say about it: "I bought this for my white porcelain kitchen sink and I've since texted five people about it, which is really a lot for such a boring grown-up product. It cleans beautifully, but the *best* thing about it is its ability to repel stains after cleaning. You know that thing when you rinse out your coffee cup and the coffee water just lingers in your sink, and you have to purposefully rinse it out for two minutes? You don't have to do that — the coffee can't stick to the sink and just goes RIGHT down the drain. Time saved, sink clean — this is really a Virgo dream product right here."

Promising review: "Holy crap!!!! I only wish I had a before picture. Our porcelain kitchen sink was just disgusting. My husband tried his best when we first moved in to get it to even resemble the original white, but the bottoms were just permanently stained a tan color. I gave up. Installing a new sink was added to the to-do list. I saw this product on a BuzzFeed article and bought it on a whim. It was cheap, and I figured it couldn’t make the sink any worse. Holy crap! I’m absolutely blown away. I used a scrubbing brush drill biton my power drill and went in a quick circle around the basin. 10 seconds tops. Boom. The sink was white. Not just white. The brilliant, bright original white it was supposed to be. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I called my husband over, and he stared with his mouth open at the sink, then grabbed this stuff out of my hand. 'What the f- is this stuff!!?' I went to town on both sides excessively for probably 10 minutes total, and my ugly sink looks shiny and white again. No more new sink for us. I couldn’t be more impressed. I’m subscribed now!" —Danielle

I stained a pair of beloved bright-blue bike shorts in my sleep and tried to get it out with soap and water, but the stain was still there when it came out of the wash. I treated it with this, stuck it back in the wash, and BOOM, it's like it never happened (I panicked before I could get a before and after, please forgive me, laundry gods)."

23. A gold leafing kit if you're willing to do a bit of arts and crafts on some pulls you're not ready to say goodbye to yet. It's a beginner-friendly project where you can spend a few chill hours brushing real metal onto your pieces, which'll remind you why you fell in love with them in the first place!

Natalie Brown / BuzzFeed

BuzzFeed Shopping senior editor Natalie Brown used this and approves: "This is exactly what I used on the old drawer knobs above, and they came out beautifully and completely transformed the aesthetic of my coffee cart! The pictures really speak for themselves here! Yes, those are four glass drawer pulls I bought on clearance at Anthropologie like, 15 years ago, and transformed in the course of an afternoon with this gold leaf!

After constant use in my bedroom then in my kitchen for that long, their original gold-painted surfaces had certainly seen better days. I shopped around for other knobs but never found any I liked quite as much...and definitely not four for $20, which is what this gold leaf kit on Amazon costs. (Well, technically it's copper and some other metals, but it LOOKS gold, which is what counts.)

IMO it's a real value: for the price, you get the adhesive sizer, 25 sheets of the metal leaf, and the sealant. Just add a couple of cheap foam brushes and some cheap craft paint brushes and you have everything you need! It took me about four hours of Olympics-watching to perfect these knobs after scrubbing the old paint off. And I only used a fraction of the kit, so there's plenty leftover for even more projects!

Simply paint the adhesive on with a foam brush, give it about 2 minutes to set so it's sticky, then carefully lay the piece of gold foil over your object, and gently use a paint brush to coax the foil into all the nooks and crannies — which is SUPER satisfying. It's okay if there are some wrinkles or imperfections, because that's what gold foil's supposed to look like. Let dry, brush off excess foil, and cover any cracks or holes with the same process. Once you're satisfied, coat your item in the sealant, let dry, and it's all set!"

Get the gold leaf kit from Amazon for $25.19 — or if that's sold out, the adhesive sizer ($9.79), sealer ($11.09) and the leaf itself ($10.99).

24. SovonCare Hairline Powder so you can conceal thinning hair, bald spots, or grown-out roots with a quick brush-on or sponge application (it includes both)! The long-lasting formula can hold up to sweat and wind, similar to Boldify, but for a lil' less. It also comes in lots of different shades that'll blend seamlessly with your locks — would you even be able to tell the reviewers below had applied it if you hadn't seen the B&A??

www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com

Promising review: "I've used the product for several days now and am very impressed with it! My hair has thinned a bit in the crown area with the passing of time, and this product helps to conceal it. I've used similar hair powders in the past but they were a bit messy, not this product! The sponge applicator helps the product go on smoothly and I usually then blend it in quickly with a tissue. The included brush is a little small but I imagine it would be good to use around the hairline. The powder also stays put until it's washed out. My natural hair color is light brown and I chose medium brownpowder for a neutral, natural look. It also helps to camouflage any grays coming in. Don't be fooled by the container, it looks small when you first open the box but a little of this powder goes a long way. I'm happy to recommend it to anyone." —Amazon Customer

Promising reviews: "Took years off my eyes! This product is so reasonably priced. I came across a TikTok promoting this and decided to take a chance since the price was super reasonable. My eyes looked brighter in a good way, and the concealer worked so well that I felt I looked younger. I got compliments from friends asking what I did differently with my makeup. I recommend it." —Monica T.

"I have eye hollowness from using eyelash serums, so that has caused dark circles under my eyes. I'm also getting older and have a lot of fine lines. This is the only thing that has helped with both of those issues. It's so easy to apply and a little goes a long way. It doesn't settle into my creases and helps to moisturize my under eyes. There is a ton of product for the price, and I would actually pay more for it if they ever increased their prices. It's super lightweight and wears just fine throughout the day. My hair is softer and doesn’t seem as frizzy as before. I put it on after washing my hair and then after it’s dry. I tend to wash my hair two times a week, so I’ll use it in between washes on my ends to make sure they still look nice and healthy. Country Chic Paint is a family-owned small business that specializes in all-in-one paint.

Promising reviews: "I've bought a total of four of these things. I went on a kick of painting all of my generic black/dark brown Ikea furniture. I used this on both the shiny/smooth furniture and the wood furniture, and it worked well on both of them. It definitely worked better on the wood furniture, though. The paint was unexpectedly very easy to use, and the color came out a LOT prettier than expected! It was easy to clean off my hands and brushes, and the paint came right off my clothes in the wash as well. Overall, I'm very very pleased with this paint and will purchase more if I need any crafty paint in the future." —Ann

Promising review: "We let a neighbor kid use our dryer, not realizing he had crayons in his pockets. We did our best at the time to clean it, but there were still obvious stains inside. It sat in storage for a year and a half before I went at it again. I googled tricks to get crayon off, tried WD-40 like many advised, Goo Gone, nothing made that crayon budge. I happened to see The Pink Stuff listed on a Buzzfeed list, and decided to try it. WOW. It took just a little elbow grease, but not even close to what I was expecting. Its scent is really mild, too. Promising review: "It bothered me that my dishwasher was black and didn't match my stainless steel stove and fridge, so I decided to give this a try. I'm glad I did! It legit looks like my dishwasher is stainless steel now. It's not big enough to cover the whole thing at once so there is a seem, but I put the seem on the lower half of the dishwasher and it's not very noticeable at all. If I didn't know to look for it, I probably wouldn't see it.
