Snow maps turn UK blue as cold weather brings temperatures below 0C in Arctic freeze

New weatherforecast maps have turned a chilly shade of blue as an Arctic blast is set to send temperatures plummeting below freezing.
Britain has seen a mild start to November, with temperatures reaching an above-average 16C at the weekend - but things could start to feel considerably colder very soon. Maps from WXCharts show temperatures falling to 0C across parts of Scotland on Sunday 17 November, and hovering around the low single figures in much of the rest of the UK. Snow is also forecast across central and northern parts of Scotland, including Glencoe and Glasgow, and in Anglesey and Conwy in Wales.
