Sober pool party for 15-year-olds in S'pore changed to trivia night after safety of minors flagged

A sober pool party in Singapore marketed to those aged 15 and above has since been rebranded into a trivia night.

This was after the event drew online backlash over concerns for youth safety.

The original event, "Flow State", organised by Party With Mythic, would supposedly feature a DJ set, 8days reported.

It was set to take place on Apr. 18, 2026 from 2pm till late at the rooftop pool of El Chido, a Mexican cocktail bar at Pullman Singapore Hill Street hotel.

Online users raised concerns in response regarding the safety of minors and argued why they thought the event should be avoided.

'Big brother'

Noting that he was addressing his viewers like a "big brother", TikToker "ruggerbud47" advised his viewers not to attend the event if they were thinking of doing so.

"You're going to an event with no guarantees of your safety, and the organisers themselves have nothing on their minds other than profit," he said.

Adding that "any adult that you meet there that is 18+ is not a good person", he said that "it is not normal for someone that's an adult to want to be mingling with people who are underage".
