BERLIN (Reuters) - Max Eberl, who takes over on March 1 as Bayern Munich's head of sport, said on Tuesday he had not yet written off the season despite the team's eight-point deficit in the Bundesliga, hoping a title was still possible.

Eberl, who had spent 15 years at Bayern Munich as a youth player and a pro until 1994, had previously served as Borussia Moenchengladbach sports director for 14 years before joining RB Leipzig in 2022.
