The former Brazilian international was admitted to hospital for five days due to cardiac ​complications in November, with extensive ⁠evaluations confirming the diagnosis ⁠of vasovagal syncope, a common form of fainting caused ⁠by ‌a sudden drop in heart rate and blood pressure.
