Soccer-Dzeko, 39, strikes on Schalke debut to become oldest scorer in second Bundesliga

BERLIN, Jan 25 (Reuters) - Striker Edin Dzeko scoredat the age of 39 and 314 days in Schalke 04's 2-2 comeback draw against Kaiserlautern in the German second division on Sunday to become the oldest player to score in the country's second Bundesliga.
Dzeko, who joined from Fiorentina this week on a deal until the end of the season, scored in the 87th minute to launch a last-gasp comeback for second division leaders Schalke on his debut. The hosts scored again in the 90th minute through Kenan Karaman to cancel out Kaiserlautern's 2-0 lead.
