FLORENCE, Italy (Reuters) - AC Milan beat Fiorentina 2-1 away to consolidate second place in Serie A on Saturday at the Artemio Franchi stadium, the home side's first game since the death of director Joe Barone.

After a scoreless first half, with Milan creating most of the chances, the game picked up when the visitors broke the deadlock inside two minutes through Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
