(Reuters) -Defending champions Al-Ahli defeated Qatar's Al-Sadd 2-1 in Doha on Tuesday to continue their unbeaten start to the league phase of the Asian Champions League Elite as fellow Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad sealed a 3-0 win over Sharjah FC.

Al-Ahli picked up their third victory of the campaign to move on to 10 points from the opening four rounds to sit in second place in the standings, two points behind their compatriots Al-Hilal.
