Jan 2 (Reuters) - Tunisia ‌coach Sami Trabelsi conceded his team fell short of expectations in the Africa Cup ‌of Nations group stage and said they need a mental reset to deliver ‌a more consistent performance when they face Mali in the last 16 on Saturday.

Tunisia, champions in 2004, started this year's tournament brightly with a 3-1 win over Uganda. They then drew 1-1 with Tanzania before losing 3-2 to Nigeria, ‍but still qualified for the next round.
