SoftBank said to invest $25b in OpenAI

SoftBank Group Corp., based in Japan, is reportedly in discussions to invest as much as US$25 billion in OpenAI, according to the Financial Times.
If this investment is confirmed, SoftBank would become the largest backer of the AI company.
SoftBank’s direct investment in OpenAI may range from US$15 billion to US$25 billion, in addition to its existing US$15 billion commitment to Project Stargate.
