22 Feb - Song Seung-hyun has finally confirmed news that he is now engaged to be married.

The former CNBLUE guitarist took to Instagram to address the previous report about his engagement, saying that he had wanted to share the news himself and was surprised to see it in news articles.

Admitting that he had mixed feelings upon being told by the media that they couldn't share the identity of the person who broke the news, Song then confirmed that he is getting married.

"Thank you so much for congratulating me. But other than the marriage news, the others are not correct information. If there is a chance, I will share it with you again," he added.

The engagement news came shortly after Song announced that he is leaving the entertainment industry to start a new chapter of his life.

Song previously announced his retirement from showbiz

"I wanted to convey my gratitude to the fans who have been patient and supportive, and I sincerely hope that both you and I can lead healthy and happy lives without physical or emotional distress," he added.
