SEOUL - Senior officials at South Korea's football association on Thursday recommended sacking the head coach of the men's national team, Jurgen Klinsmann, following a poor performance at the Asian Cup and controversy over his leadership.

The recommendation comes after media reports about a brawl between captain Son Heung-min and midfielder Lee Kang-in which prompted criticism from fans against Klinsmann's leadership. REUTERS
