PETALING JAYA: The national hockey team will have to pick themselves up from the disappointment of an early Nations Cup exit in South Africa and channel their focus towards mounting a stronger challenge at the Asian Games.

The Speedy Tigers failed to make the semi-finals of the Nations Cup after they were thrashed 5-1 by New Zealand on Tuesday, taking their second loss in three games in Cape Town.
