Storm warning: Thunderstorms, heavy rain expected over five states, KL until 5pm

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a weather warning, with thunderstorms and heavy rain forecast in five states and the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur until 5pm Friday (June 27).
In a statement Friday, MetMalaysia said the areas affected include Perak (Kerian, Larut, Matang and Selama, Kuala Kangsar, Manjung, Perak Tengah, Bagan Datuk, Hilir Perak, Batang Padang and Muallim), Pahang (Bentong, Bera and Rompin), Selangor (Sabak Bernam, Kuala Selangor, Hulu Selangor, Gombak, Petaling, and Hulu Langat), and Negri Sembilan (Jelebu, Kuala Pilah and Jempol).
In Sarawak, the areas affected are Kuching, Serian, amarahan, Si Aman., Betong, Sarikei, Sibu (Sibu and Kanowit), Mukah (Tanjung Manis, Daro and Matu), and Kapit (Song and Kapit).
The public is advised to visit www.met.gov.my or MetMalaysia’s official social media channels and download the myCuaca application for the latest accurate information.

Planning to go KL in middle of July and hopefully the weather is just nice. Not too hot or too rainy as this is the second outing together with my grandson this year before the next trip in August
