Nicholas Braun is finding success in his love life.

The Succession alum gave a rare update on his relationship with girlfriend Hyunji Ward as he celebrated her birthday with a heartfelt message on social media.

“HBD to my sweet sweet DARLING of a girlfriend,” the actor gushed in a post on Instagram March 26. “You are the absolute joy of my life. You make me my best self!!”

To prove his point, Nicholas, 36, pointed to the “shirt full of forks” he wore in one of the photos in the carousel, noting that Hyunji—an executive at TeaTime Pictures—was the one who told him he could pull off the bold style.

“You were right,” he concluded. “Love you dearly.”

While the couple have kept their romance relatively quiet, they’ve made occasional appearances together such as an understated outing at an Emmy Awards after-party in January 2024 and a date night at a Netflix event the following month.

And while the How to Be Single star appears to be happily partnered, he previously admitted that his tendency to overthink potential connections contributed to his past dating struggles.

“I don’t feel like I have power or leverage at all,” he told The Cut in June 2021. “I’m the one trying to get something, get a text back or get a call back or anything.”
