KUALA LUMPUR (June 27): SumiSaujana Group Berhad (SumiSaujana) and its subsidiary has secured a contract from Sarawak Shell Berhad for the provision of specialised chemicals and associated services for the Rosmari & Marjoram Project in Bintulu.

The contract was awarded to its wholly-owned unit SumiSaujana TCM Chemicals Sdn Bhd (SSTCM).

The Rosmari & Marjoram Project is a major sour gas development in deepwater, operated by Sarawak Shell Berhad with participation from PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd, TotalEnergies, and E&P Venture Malaysia Sdn Bhd.

The large-scale project involves a subsea facility, a remotely operated offshore platform, and an onshore gas plant.

Under the contract, SSTCM will supply a complete Total Solution Package covering specialty chemicals, technical supervision, manpower, logistics, and all required support services.

SumiSaujana executive director and CEO Norazlam Norbi said the group is proud to be chosen by Sarawak Shell Berhad as a trusted chemical solutions partner.
