RANTAU PANJANG: Residents of Thailand's Sungai Golok border town remain traumatised by Saturday night's bomb attacks, with many mistaking the sound of firecrackers set off by Malaysians here for another attack.

Residents in several Kelantan villages bordering Thailand have been setting off firecrackers and fireworks since Sunday night, in anticipation of Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
