Celebrity news publication TMZ has hit back at critics who scolded the publication for sharing photographs of Liam Payne's lifeless body - and it is not the first time they have been under fire

When the world learned ofLiam Payne's tragic death, American news outlet TMZ were quick to publish 'disrespectful' photographs.

The former One Direction star plunged 40ft to his death from a third-floor balcony at a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. A body was found in an internal patio of the Casa Sur Palermo hotel shortly after 5pm local time. It's believed Liam suffered "very serious injuries incompatible with life".
