Found out that some girl is claiming to be dating my ex; has his picture as her phone lock screen and everything.

Even posts Instagram posts about him using pictures that look quite dated. (His hair is way longer in person now)

I know that my ex went out with her a few times before, but I also know that there’s no way she’s dating him.

How do I know she’s not dating him? She claims to go out for lunch with him every other day, but he usually eats lunch in his office. She says he works at a startup, he actually works in NUS in the building next to mine. He is attached; just not to her.

I don’t know why she’d do this; she patently doesn’t go out with my ex for lunch, that’s impossible because she works in Pasir Ris and he eats in his office, and all the things she’s posting are obviously a couple of years old.

I’m just very confused to why anyone would claim to be dating some guy they weren’t, and my ex no less. He used to be a player kind of guy so my friends suggested that some girls like “snagging” this kind of players but I honestly have no clue what that would be like – we broke up because he cheated on me with some attached girl he met at a bar. What’s the draw even? What does it even benefit her to fake a relationship with someone like him?

Why would you even pay attention to what your ex is doing and your ex’s life? Before you even judge about other girl’s actions, maybe you yourself should get a life first… he’s your ex not your bf, you have no rights to be stalking him or that girl (although you shouldn’t be stalking your bf as well but stalking bf is more justifiable than stalking your ex) whatever the girl is doing, you shouldn’t even be affected by it cos she’s not doing you any harm in any way…

Probably your ex asked her for help to do all that to get u off his back. Cos ex already but u still stalking his life. Get a grip and move on la.
