Taiwan is investigating 11 Chinese firms for alleged illegal recruitment of semiconductor and other high-tech workers, as it steps up efforts to curb technology outflows amid tensions with Beijing.
Authorities searched dozens of sites and questioned 90 people in a coordinated probe into illegal engineer hiring.
