Taiwan to unveil $2.7b support package for tariff-hit businesses

Taiwan’s Premier Cho Jung-tai announced that the government will unveil details of an NT$88 billion (US$2.7 billion) support package next week.
The initiative aims to assist local businesses affected by US tariffs.
The package will support the industrial, agricultural, and fishery sectors, allocating NT$70 billion (US$2.14 billion) for measures like reduced loan interest rates, market diversification, and job stabilization.
