Actress Tay Ying and celebrity chef Wu Sihan have tied the knot.
The local celebrity couple held the 72-table wedding banquet at Orchard Hotel last night (June 15), the same place where Tay Ying's actor parents Hong Huifang and Zhang Geping had theirs 32 years ago.
Many local stars were seen at the occasion, including Jin Yinji, Xiang Yun, Chen Shucheng, Henry Thia, Christopher Lee, Fann Wong, Dennis Chew, Kym Ng, Huang Biren, Chen Hanwei, Florence Tan, Vincent Ng, Aileen Tan, Yvonne Lim, Phyllis Quek, Patricia Mok, Desmond Tan, Rebecca Lim, Elvin Ng, Romeo Tan, Paige Chua, Carrie Wong, Denise Camellia Tan, Nick Teo and Hong Ling.
In a video taken by Fann, Tay Ying is seen struggling to hold up the hem of her white gown, and Sihan, clad in a classic black suit and tie, held it up for her while they walk down the aisle.
They later popped a bottle of champagne with her in a white lace gown and him in a forest green suit jacket.
"We had the perfect wedding thanks to so many people," said Tay Ying in a joint Instagram post with Sihan today, signing off as "Mr and Mrs Wu".
Actresses Priscelia Chan, Apple Hong and Chantalle Ng - who were also in attendance - replied with their well-wishes and congratulations.
Tay Ying, 29, and Sihan, 33, held their betrothal ceremony last month. They have been dating since 2021.
