Teacher, son found dead in suspected double murder in Melaka [WATCH]

MELAKA: A teacher and her 21-year-old son were found dead, while another son was rushed to hospital in what is believed to be a case of double murder early this morning.

It is learnt that members of the public made the gruesome discovery when they saw the body of one of the victims in front of a house in Bukit Rambai and alerted the police at about 6am.

A team of officers from the Batang Tiga police station was dispatched to the scene and found a man injured and lying in front of the house.

Further checks led to the discovery of two more victims inside the house, both unconscious and covered in blood.

A medical team from Melaka Hospital, who arrived shortly after, confirmed that the two victims had died.

It is understood that the police forensic team remains at the scene, led by Melaka deputy police chief Senior Assistant Commissioner Ahmad Jefferi Abdullah and Melaka Criminal Investigation Department chief Assistant Commissioner Leow Kian Heong.

It is also believed that the teacher is a single mother.
