BANGKOK: Thailand’s sprint sensation Puripol Boonson lit up the Supachalasai Stadium after smashing the SEA Games record with a blistering 9.94s in the 100m heats on Thursday (Nov 11).
The 18-year-old became the first Southeast Asian sprinter to dip below 10 seconds on home soil, underlining his status as the region’s fastest man.
