The world is home to some pretty terrifying bridges, stretching for miles across seas or floating high above deep ravines. It’s no surprise that the fear of bridges has been given a name - Gephyrophobia.
This scary bridge may just top the list, however. Stretching for just over a mile across Nakaumi Lake in Japan, the Eshima Ohashi Bridge appears so steep in photos online that it has been dubbed the “rollercoaster bridge”. From a certain angle, it looks like users are climbing up a 45-degree angle.
