PETALING JAYA: Hosting the 2038 or 2042 Asian Games will be a better option than taking up the host job for the 2026 Commonwealth Games.

Former national hockey player Maninderjit Singh, who once served as Malaysian Hockey Federation general manager and was part of the Podium Programme Enhancement Committee, believed that hosting the 2038 Asian Games will be a more ideal target for Malaysian sports.
