PUTRAJAYA: At least three areas in the country's federal administrative capital were hit by flash floods due to heavy rains and clogged drains today.

It is learnt that excessive rainfall from heavy downpours could not flow freely because of the clogged drainage.

Among the locations affected by the flash floods at 4.20pm included Persiaran Seri Perdana and near the residential area of the chief secretary to the government in Presint 10, the health clinic in Presint 9 as well as areas around Presint 11A.
