Haley Khalil is putting suspicious minds to rest.

After Austin Butler stepped out in New York with a woman who resembled her, the TikToker—known as Haleyybaylee on the platform—set the record straight on rumors that she's dating the Elvis star.

"It's not me, but I wish it was," Haley told TMZ on Sept. 4. "Austin, my DMs are open."

Romance speculation started swirling on Sept. 1, when Austin was seen dining with a mystery woman on a sunny balcony in a video circulating on social media. While Haley and Austin's unnamed companion have similar long hair, the influencer is a redhead while the woman in the sighting was a brunette.

But that's not to say Haley and Austin haven't crossed paths. After all, they were both at the New York premiere of his movie Caught Stealing on Aug. 26.

At the time, Haley—who was previously married to NFL star Matt Kalil—posted a video the 34-year-old walking past her on the red carpet, quipping in the Instagram caption, "@austinbutler has no idea I even exist."

As for Austin, it was reported in January that he and model Kaia Gerber broke up after three years of dating. He has not publicly spoken out about the split, though Austin tends to keep details about his love life close to the chest.

"I go, ‘If I don’t see the picture, then it doesn’t really exist to me,’" he told GQ in 2022, shortly after he and Kaia were photographed on a date together. "I don’t want to be really negative, but there’s hardly any job I despise more than paparazzi."

Thanking the interview for "providing the space" to speak about his relationship, Austin added, "I don’t think there’s anything I want to share about that."

The 2022 Met Gala on May 2, 2022, was their highest-profile date yet. Gerber donned Alexander McQueen for the occasion while Butler's threads were by Prada.

Gerber and Butler only had eyes for each other at the May 25, 2022, premiere of Elvis at the Cannes Film Festival.
