Ad Time Sdn Bhd, a local watch distributor, has brought four series of Timex watch collections back to the Malaysian public.

To drum up some fanfare, the company held a “relaunch exhibition” at Mid Valley Megamall in Kuala Lumpur.

Earlier this year, AD Time obtained the licence to become the sole distributor of Timex watches in Malaysia.

The four series highlighted during the one-week exhibition, which ended on Monday, were the Peanuts Collection, Met Collection, Q Timex Chronograph Collection, and the UFC Collection.

AD Time marketing manager David Wang tells StarChrono that the Peanuts Collection is a tribute to the syndicated comic strip “Peanuts”.

“Apart from pleasing Peanuts’ fans, we also wish to bring some happiness and the feeling of freedom through this collection,” he says.

The collection offers various options for watch straps.

One can choose silicone, nylon or leather straps, Wang adds.

The Peanuts Collection on display at the showcase is centred on Snoopy, the main character of the Peanuts comic strip.
