Tin Men Capital, a Singapore-based venture capital firm focused on Southeast Asian enterprise and frontier technology startups, said on June 29 that it had appointed Cleveland-based Arielle Thompson as global head of capital formation.

The firm also promoted John Tay to director of partnerships and strategy.

Thompson will lead the firm’s global capital formation strategy, investor relations, and institutional positioning across North America, Europe, and Asia.

Tin Men said she previously held roles at Goldman Sachs, Crescent Capital Group, and Northern Trust.

Tay, who Tin Men said built its partnerships function in the firm’s early years, will oversee institutional strategy, regional ecosystem engagement, and long-term organizational development.

Tin Men was founded in 2018 and focuses on series A business-to-business (B2B) technology startups in Southeast Asia.

Investor database Superscout lists the firm’s fund size at US$100 million.

The firm’s public materials show it is still deploying from its second fund, but there was no public disclosure of a new fund close or an ongoing fundraising round.
