Todak gunning to be MPL champs

KUALA LUMPUR – E-sport team “Todak” says it will be gunning for the Mobile Legend: Bang-Bang (MLBB) league title this year.
Already into its eighth season, the Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) tournament begins tomorrow until Oct 3.
Team manager, Mohd Syazlan Mohd Rosdi said their target is to win the eighth edition of the tournament.
“We will be training hard for the tournament especially since we have in the team a mixture of old and new faces,” he said when contacted by Bernama.
Known as Ashi, Syazlan said training would be intensive to give team, especially for the new players. as they did not have much time before the tournament begins.
“They train from 2 pm to 10 pm and there are days they would be training up to 3 am if there is live streaming from overseas,” he said.
Since participating for the last seven seasons of the MPL, Todak had emerged winners only once during the sixth season after defeating EVOS SG in the final.
Commenting on his team’s participation in the Asian Game 2022 in Hangzhou where China have confirmed that the game will be a medals event, Ashi hopes to see his boys in action.
