Well, Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas have a lot to explain now that yachting holiday snapshots of them have emerged.  Is this how all co-stars interact? It’s hard to tamp down the romance speculation at this point after they were first spotted together in February. The Deeper stars were seen in Menorca, Spain, this week in photos captured by Hello! magazine. They were on the deck together, wearing large-brimmed hats to protect their skin from the blazing sun.  De Armas wore a breezy white sundress, while Cruise sported a light-blue shirt and navy blue shorts. The moment looked intimate as they chatted casually, but there was no obvious PDA moment. The duo appears very comfortable together, and her dog is also on vacation with them — this looks more than a platonic work outing. 

To refresh your memory, a People source maintained that the two actors were “just friends” in March after they were spotted together multiple times. The 63-year-old actor then praised the 37-year-old Ballerina star toExtra. “[Ana is a] very, very talented, great dramatic actress, comedic, tremendous ability, learns quickly,” he said in May.  Still, their supernatural film has hit a major roadblock, which makes Cruise and de Armas’ yachting adventure even more curious. According to Puck News, Warner Bros. passed on making the film due to thesky-high price of $275 million. Cruise is reportedly shopping the project around to other studios that can meet his pricing demands.  Us Weekly has hinted that a romance between them is blossoming, describing it as “low-key” and “still new and in the early stages” as of May. The media outlet also dropped a bit of tea, claiming it was Cruise’s ex-girlfriend Penelope Cruz who finally got him to ask de Armas out on a date. De Armas was guarded during a May appearance on Good Morning America when she was asked about her friendship with Cruise. “It’s so much fun,” she said about their possible film. “We’re definitely working on a lot of things, not just one but a few projects. I’m so excited.” So, the holiday in Spain is an even bigger clue that Cruise and de Armas have something brewing, and it appears to be more than work-related.
